Expeditionary Force Commander: The Rise of the Cannon Fodder Regiment

A fanfiction based on My Chief and My Regiment. It does not touch on political factions or founding a country overseas, and there are no large-scale battles, only ordinary people's resistance against Japan. If that's not your thing, please be kind in the comments. In 1942, a group of demoralized cannon fodder gathered in Zhenda. They were living like lumps of mud. Every day, the deserters leaned against the walls, basking in the sun as they picked lice and rubbed their stomachs, wondering where they could find food. Everything changed when the protagonist, Qi Pengfei, entered the assembly station, because he discovered that the blood of this cannon fodder unit had not yet gone cold. Little by little, the protagonist rekindles their manly spirit, making them shoulder the responsibility and honor of being soldiers. Qi Pengfei, a wage slave from the twenty-first century, is brought by an accident to this era of raging war and desperate hardship. Faced with the Nationalist army's repeated defeats, he follows the System to Zhenda, where the fighting begins anew. The protagonist's cheats aren't all that powerful: a small map in his mind and a System space. There are no rewards for killing enemies, only daily sign-ins, and the resistance of ordinary people. This is my first novel about the war of resistance. I love My Chief and My Regiment, so I thought I'd give writing one a try. Please point out any problems, and forgive me if it's not very good.
