One soul, three lives, three achievements: in the Age of the End of Dharma, he walks a path to perfecting the Three Bodies.
In his first life, he is the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand's monks. After seventy years of ascetic practice, he severs every affliction and attains arhatship, achieving the Dharma Body. He could have entered nirvana forever, but at the edge of extinction, he hears a baby cry in the human world. So he turns back, reenters the Saha world, and subdues evil spirits.
In his second life, he is a Tibetan lama. Born amid war, he lays down his weapons and takes up the scriptures. He travels through battle zones, using his own flesh and blood to stand between people and the blades. He saves three hundred orphans and works to bring the fighting to an end. At last, he dies amid the troops while saving a child from the enemy side. He smiles as he passes: the Sambhogakaya is achieved, its radiance complete.
In his third life, he is a Han Chinese monk. Amid the chaos of the Age of the End of Dharma, he neither argues nor competes, quietly sweeping floors, carrying water, and mending worn-out robes. To one visitor, he says simply, “When you're hungry, eat. When you're tired, sleep.” On the day he passes, he sits upright and dies peacefully. The Dharma, Sambhoga, and Nirmanakaya appear at once, their radiance reflecting one another as he transcends the world and becomes a Buddha.
This is not a story about seeking Buddhahood, but about a person who chooses three times to become “a light willing to turn back.”
Dedicated to everyone who walks through darkness and still believes in the light.
It looks good, but the author stopped updating it (。•ˇ‸ˇ•。). It's very sad. I need more updates (╥╥). Don't be so short.
