Returning the Scriptures from the West

The Tathagata has become completely demonic, and Spirit Mountain is now a source of “Buddhist poison” that spreads contamination. Chanting sutras, reciting Buddha's name, and using Buddhist power all accelerate its spread.

Xuanzang, the reincarnation of Jin Chanzi, travels upstream to deliver the scriptures. The “scriptures” he carries are not a physical book, but the final and purest “power of faith and vows,” gathered by the people of the Eastern Lands before they were fully contaminated and sealed inside a special jade box. They are the key “antidote” for purifying Spirit Mountain.
