Above the 23rd Floor, the Sky Is Clear

A building with an inexplicable extra floor and an international conspiracy revolving around “23” draw three ordinary female architectural designers into a deadly whirlpool.

“23” is more than an ordinary floor number. It is the code name of a criminal organization spanning numerous industries. A magnolia keychain connects the clues, leading to a vast sum of stolen money in a mysterious overseas account. The money’s final destination turns out to be closely tied to foreign arms dealers. Jiang Xingye, a bomb disposal expert with a border security and counter-terrorism unit, also discovers the same “23” organization mark on the Southeast Asian border.

State assets are caught in a surging undercurrent. As key witnesses, the three unarmed female designers are forced to travel to Southeast Asia for trial. Meanwhile, fearing that an investigation by the police back home will expose their clues, the overseas “23 Organization” turns on itself in a bloody purge. A shipment of illegal weapons scheduled for destruction is mistakenly blown up in a remote Southeast Asian village because of an error in the amount of explosives used. Jiang Xingye’s unit rushes to the scene to handle the bomb disposal.

When the lines on a blueprint unexpectedly overlap with the smoke of war along the national border, the three unarmed female designers and the bomb disposal expert trapped in danger find their fates entwined in a foreign land by the “23 Organization’s” shocking conspiracy. Faced with layers of deadly threats, can they join forces to sever this chain of crime that stretches across borders?
