Rule Horror: I Am the BUG

[Rules horror + survival + multiple heroines] As an overworked designer, I thought the scariest thing in the world was a client asking me yet again to make the logo a little bigger. That was before blood-red rules appeared on my computer screen. [Rule One: Keep quiet. Your neighbors don't like noise.] The girl downstairs is about to be driven crazy by her cat. [Rule Two: Your cat is your good friend, but it isn't your cat.] I stare at the fake cat in front of me and ponder: Apart from eating and sleeping, what use is an orange tabby? [Rule Three: Something is knocking at the door. Whatever you do, don't open it.] Not only did I open it, I had a pleasant, friendly conversation with the administrator outside about the cleaner's benefits and pension contributions. While everyone else screams in terror under the rules, I'm exploiting loopholes for a massive profit. While everyone else struggles to survive in the world of strange tales, I direct things remotely from my living room and help the girls rank up. What can I say? I'm a respectable person with impeccable logic. Even at the end of the world, problems must be solved with grace. After all, what does a man who knows how to keep the client happy have to fear?
