The Easygoing Young Master Raises Exotic Beasts

He was Kyoto's most hopeless young master of accounts, but after rescuing an injured bo, he could no longer simply lie flat! He only meant to keep it as a pet, but who knew the fur of this ancient beast could be woven into celestial robes, while its droppings could fertilize ten thousand acres of farmland? Lin Zhao grinned as he ran his abacus. “If I'm going to lie flat anyway, why not use my ledger to raise a tycoon?” So he didn't fight over docks or undercut prices. He made a fortune selling cloth woven from the beast's fur, and instead of picking fights, he turned Shen Mozhu's mechanical beasts into living advertisements for “divine cloth that resists fire.” Then one night, the bo took a fatal shot meant for him. Cradling the last tuft of its fur, Lin Zhao laughed and cursed, “You scoundrel, you promised we'd lie flat together...” Now Kyoto's richest man still spends every day walking his birds, but a new litter of little bo are chasing abacus beads around his ranch. Somehow, this life of lying flat seems even sweeter.
