Industrial Civilization Advances into Another World

The ancient Varangia Empire opens a portal to another world connected to Earth, hoping to conquer it and seize its resources. Its vanguard is swiftly crushed by the Longguo army. In response, an expeditionary force is assembled. Using a portal brought under their control, it enters Eldra, a world beyond Earth. With the advantages of modern military technology and industry, the force gradually overwhelms the magic empire's knights, dragons, magic arrays, and other powers. It conquers the provinces, seizes control of the skies and seas, breaks the gods' forbidden spells, and ultimately destroys the empire, ushering in a new age of exploration from Earth to other worlds. Lin Yue, an army major, leads his unit through the entire campaign, advancing the conquest through tactics and leadership and witnessing modern civilization's overwhelming advantage over a magical world.
