National Fate: Playing the Rover, but with Random Teammates

[Wuthering Waves fan fiction + National Destiny Arena + global livestream + face-slapping + team battles + apocalyptic crisis + fast-paced + power fantasy] The Mourning Arena descended, and 197 nations around the world randomly selected “Resonators” to fight in the forbidden zones! Victory would bring prosperity to a nation. Defeat would unleash disasters that could wipe it off the map! The 1.4 billion people of Huaxia waited with bated breath, only for the nation to draw a homeless man curled up in the ruins: Bo Ning! “It’s over! Huaxia is doomed!” The whole nation despaired as the chat exploded. Even more absurdly, his randomly assigned teammate was a woman from another world, with moon-bright golden hair and a faded nun’s habit: Cartethyia?! Why did she look at him with such trust and affection? And was that... shyness? But when a swarm of crimson bats came swooping in and everyone thought they were sure to die Bo Ning made his move! Wind blades sliced through the air, killing six monsters in an instant! The confusion faded from his eyes, leaving only steady resolve! Cartethyia drew her sword, unleashing the roaring power of storms and the sea to clear the battlefield with an AOE attack! “Holy crap!” The chat instantly changed its tune! Their national destiny points skyrocketed, and Huaxia surged from last place to first! New instances, new teammates... Can they protect Huaxia amid the flames?
