End of the World: My Potted Plants Keep Trying to Bloom

[Two Male Leads + Post-Apocalypse + Raising a Child + Superpowers + Sweet Romance + Adorable Contrast]

Yan Chi, the apocalypse's strongest plant-type ability user, is a cold-blooded and merciless “Master of Plants.” His only weakness in this life is that he can't resist anything fluffy, soft, and cute.

On one mission, he didn't bring back any rare supplies. Instead, he came back with a pot containing... a palm-sized ginseng spirit with arms and legs, a cowlick on its head, and the ability to walk on its own?

The little ginseng spirit is obedient and cuddly. When nervous, it buries itself in the soil. When happy, little buds sprout from its head. When hungry, it clings to Yan Chi's combat boots and gnaws on them, making sweet little “chuu” sounds.

Yan Chi's heart, frozen for eight hundred years in the apocalypse, melted into a complete mess in an instant.

From then on, Captain Yan Chi's daily routine changed from “kill zombies, seize supplies, expand the base” to “It's time to change Duoduo's potting soil,” “I wonder if Duoduo will grow faster if I give it just a little of my power today,” and “Anyone who dares touch my little potted plant is asking for trouble.”

Later, when a vast tide of zombies surged in and everyone thought the end had come, the little ginseng spirit in Yan Chi's arms stretched, waved its tiny hand, and sent countless vines bursting from the earth to wipe out the entire horde in an instant.

Everyone: ???!!!

Yan Chi, chest puffed out with pride: “See that? My potted plant is the strongest in the world!”

Duoduo, blushing as flower buds sprout from its head: “Chuu... I-I need kisses to grow more.”
