At the age of twenty-five, Edward receives a letter from his father, whom he hasn’t seen in years. His father invites him to meet at a hotel. But his father is nowhere to be found in the hotel. The hotel manager has the same name as him; a robin statue appears mysteriously in his room; there are knocks at the door and room service in the middle of the night; and the hotel rules are strange…

Dear Edward,

When you read this letter, I imagine you’ll be very surprised.

Dear Edward,

When you read this letter, are you really Edward?
