After I Gave Her the Antidote, My Sister Went Mad

My sister and I were both poisoned and left unable to speak. There was only one antidote pill, but my sister snatched it and swallowed it first. From then on, her songs captivated the capital, and she successfully moved into the Eastern Palace as the Crown Princess. But the Empress believed that letting an entertainer rule the country would bring ruin, so she sent my sister to the Cold Palace, where she died miserably in a lotus pond. Unable to speak, I could only marry a military general. After three years guarding the frontier, the general earned great merit, and I was granted the title of First-Rank Lady of the Imperial Household. But when I went to visit my sister in the Cold Palace, she locked me in a cage, where I was torn apart and devoured. When I opened my eyes again, an antidote lay before me. My sister pushed the medicine box to my lips, frantically signaling for me to take the pill. I calmly picked it up. In this life, I could finally speak up for myself. But what a pity for my sister. There’s a road to heaven, but she won’t take it; there’s no door to hell, yet she barges right in.
