After getting blackout drunk, Gu Yuzhou experiences an unexpected “soul shock” and transmigrates to 2025, right after the national team’s disastrous World Cup qualifier defeat, in a parallel timeline remarkably similar to his own. The biggest difference is that in this world, the national team’s problems run even deeper, and nearly every glimmer of hope has been extinguished. At rock bottom, the Cuju System awakens!
It is formed from the spirit of Chinese cuju across a thousand years and the national fortune’s spiritual resonance, gathered from countless unfulfilled wishes. It chose Gu Yuzhou for his bloodline, the remnants of his skills, and the deep, undying passion still within him, as well as his drunken state of mind, which had left his “mental gate wide open” and made him easy to connect with. It cannot be uninstalled! It is bound to his soul and the fate of the national team!
