My Private Planet

"Lin Ye! Have you gone completely out of your mind? How dare you cause trouble here?" The boss pointed at Lin Ye's nose and shouted.

Lin Ye raised his head, his eyes bloodshot as he glared at the boss. "How am I causing trouble? I work myself to the bone for you every day, get paid the least, and still have to put up with your abuse! Why does A Hao get to sit around doing nothing and boss everyone else around? Just because he's your nephew?"

"You're just an employee. What gives you the right to question how I manage my staff?" The boss's face turned red with anger. "If you don't want to work, get out! Plenty of people want your job!"

"Fine, I'm out!" Lin Ye gritted his teeth and spoke each word distinctly. "This lousy job can go to whoever wants it!" He took off his work uniform, hurled it to the ground, and turned to leave. The moment he walked out of the auto repair shop, he felt both relieved and lost. He was relieved he no longer had to put up with such humiliation, but had no idea what to do next.
