From the Start, I Have a Jade Gate Pass: Turmoil Returns to the Western Regions

Li Xuan, a modern soul, transmigrates to the first year of Yonghui in the Tang dynasty and takes charge of the dilapidated Yumen Pass. Using modern knowledge, he improves weapons and develops agriculture and commerce, leading his men to repel the Turks and decisively defeat the Tibetans, while thwarting their conspiracy with the Arabs.

He opens the “Tian Kehan Road,” forging ties with Rome and Persia. Technologies such as the curved-plow and the thousand-mile telescope fuel the prosperity of the Silk Road, as he builds a power in the Western Regions far stronger than the Four Garrisons of Anxi. From guardian of the pass to pioneer connecting East and West, Li Xuan makes Yumen Pass a hub linking the world and ushers in a grand age when all nations come to pay tribute.
