From the Start, I Ascended the Throne and Sacrificed the Entire Nation

“The immortals hold the mandate of heaven; mortals raise the wicked dragon.”

In the Great Chu Dynasty, the nation's fortunes were waning. The immortal sects stood above all others, treating mortals like insects. Qi Zhi was the emperor, yet little more than a puppet kept by the Tianxuan Sect. The blood pact burned into his chest was both a shackle and a humiliation.

For twenty years, he endured in silence and laid a world-shaking trap: the Wicked Dragon Devours Heaven Array. Using the resentment of the people as fuel, it would devour the golden dragon of the nation's fortune and defy fate!

“If the immortal path is unjust, then I will prove my way through demonic cultivation!”

The day the capital became a city of ghosts, the Tianxuan Sect flew into a rage, the Golden Light Temple coveted its prize, and the demonic path waited for its chance. Standing atop a mountain of corpses, Qi Zhi navigated a world of lies and schemes, swearing to tear apart this false mandate of heaven!

The immortals see him as an insect, but he intends to devour heaven!
