A Lord's Beginning: City of Time and Space

On the edge of the Hongmeng Continent, Cheng Mo, an ordinary bank clerk, is unexpectedly swept up in an adventure spanning space and time. While handling routine bank transfers, he witnesses a mysterious blue portal to another world discovered by an Antarctic expedition team, all through a livestream. Cheng Mo enters another world called the Hongmeng Continent and is granted the talent of a “Master of Space and Time.” In this new world, full of danger and the unknown, he must establish his own territory, recruit heroes, fend off attacks from mutated creatures, and compete with other lords for survival resources. As the story unfolds, Cheng Mo gradually learns the truth about the Hongmeng Continent: it is an examination ground divided up after the myriad races competed, designed to select beings capable of protecting themselves. During the examination, Cheng Mo faces many challenges, including extreme heat, attacks from mutated creatures, and open as well as covert struggles with other lords. Using his space-time talent and the wisdom of Zhiming, a fate-weaving spider, he continually searches for opportunities to survive and grow. Together, they not only fend off threats from terrifying creatures such as lava behemoths and deep-sea behemoths, but also uncover several hidden quests, earning precious resources and powerful hero units. However, as the examination progresses, Cheng Mo gradually discovers that the truth behind it is far more complicated than he imagined. The Hongmeng Continent is not merely a proving ground: it is also a critical juncture that will determine the fate of the myriad races.
