Thunder Over the Dragon Gate

On a stormy night in Luoyang, the head of a statue of Vairocana Buddha at the Longmen Grottoes is mysteriously stolen.

Luo Jinghong, heir to the Luo family, one of the four great antique clans, discovers that a treasure map left by Wu Zetian is hidden inside the Buddha head.

To recover it, she is forced to join forces with Lu Chenzhou, a man whose identity is shrouded in mystery.

The underground ghost market of Luoyang is rife with undercurrents, and each of the four great families has its own agenda. The Qin family covets the treasure hidden behind the Buddha head, the Chu family plans to use the opportunity to swallow up the Luo family, and the Chen family keeps its cards close to its chest.

When Luo Jinghong finally recovers the Buddha head, she discovers that its interior is already empty.

The treasure map has been stolen, and the clues point to a hidden grotto deep within the Longmen Grottoes, one never before seen by the world: the Ten Thousand Buddhas Grotto.

The grotto is packed with deadly mechanisms, and the “Master of the Ghost Market” is watching from the shadows.

A thunderous storm of national treasure disputes, clan feuds, and personal redemption is about to erupt at Longmen.
