I Transmigrate to the Great Tang and Start Collecting Junk

Zhang Wei, a modern office drone, unexpectedly gains the ability to travel freely between past and present. His first stop is Chang’an in the Great Tang.

He trades half a pack of spicy strips for a “broken bowl.” Back in the present, an appraisal reveals it’s worth three million.

On his next trip to the Tang dynasty, he carries incense coils to trade for official kiln porcelain, only to be laughed at by a pawnshop for being a fool.

Zhang Wei angrily takes his wares to an auction house, where three pieces of porcelain fetch tens of millions.

On his third trip, he brings a lighter to the chancellor’s residence and uses modern medical knowledge to save Du Ruhui.

After the chancellor recovers, Zhang Wei points at a pile of trash in Chang’an: “From now on, all of this belongs to me!”
