The Secret of the Bronze Mirror

Qi Yu, a modern university lecturer in history, discovers a bronze mirror from the Warring States period while sorting through her grandfather’s belongings. Strange inscriptions appear across its surface. As she studies it late at night, the mirror suddenly glows and pulls her into a temporal vortex. Qi Yu wakes in a downpour on the edge of an ancient battlefield, where patrolling soldiers seize her as a spy. Just as she is about to be executed, a young commander named Wei Jing intervenes, postponing her execution because of her strange clothes and the modern objects in her bag. Wei Jing takes Qi Yu back to camp for questioning, forcing her to make up a story that she is a fangshi from overseas. Half-convinced, Wei Jing places her under temporary house arrest. In her tent, Qi Yu finds a bronze mirror connected to her transmigration, but she cannot activate it, so for now she has no choice but to keep her identity hidden.
