Cultivator and Soul Ferryer

The story takes place in a modern city in 2025, where shadows steeped in yin energy lurk in places like abandoned hospitals and old mansions. Lin Feng, a young cultivator, has the ability to see ghosts with his “Yin-Yang Eyes” and communicate with restless spirits. Using talismans and rites to guide the dead onward, he helps them let go of their obsessions and dispels the baleful energy of vengeful ghosts. This baleful energy is resentment made tangible, appearing as black mist or distorted shadows. Lin Feng travels between the worlds of the living and the dead: the living world is reality, while the underworld is a void where spirits temporarily reside. His journey is driven by the injustice of the world: wealthy merchants collude with the powerful to kill the innocent, leaving their ghosts unable to rest.
