Demon Embryo of the Thunder Tribulation: The Birth of Chen Shisan

When Chen Shisan was born, nineteen bolts of lightning struck from the sky. A fortune-teller declared, “Born a demon child, doomed to face eighteen calamities,” then carried him to the village entrance and died on the spot. His mother died in childbirth, and his father, Chen Laoshuan, made his living slaughtering pigs while secretly using dog’s blood to suppress the demonic aura within him. From childhood, Shisan could see spirits. Whenever the moon was full, pain wracked his body, as if something inside him were trying to burst out.
