Synopsis

"The Travels of Lao Can" is a chapter-style novel with profound social critical significance written by Liu E, a famous novelist in the late Qing Dynasty. The book has a total of twenty chapters, using the travels of "old cripples" as quacks as clues to describe the social scene in Shandong in the late Qing Dynasty, and profoundly expose the realistic picture of official corruption and people's livelihood suffering at that time.
