Miss Su of Li Xiangyang

Li Xiangyang and Su Jie’s story begins with a prank. He’s the village’s notorious troublemaker, while she’s a city girl who has lost both her parents and is living under someone else’s roof. From elementary school through middle school, he bullies her and protects her; she hates him and relies on him. He stuffs a frog into her desk, getting her made to stand as punishment by the teacher; He deliberately skips his homework, making her stay at school until dark; He hides by the roadside to scare her, but is the first to rush to her defense when someone picks on her. They walk the muddy country roads together, gaze at the stars over the wheat fields, and share a piece of fruit candy in the winter wind. He secretly loves her but never says it; she quietly cares for him but always insists she doesn’t.
