No romance pairings, with a touch of ensemble cast and two main heroines
(The author got carried away and this is my first time writing a story, so there’s a ton of made-up stuff and it’s set in an alternate modern world. The story is entirely fictional. If it’s not well written, then, well, go yell at the tomatoes! Right, yeah, that’s it.)
Feng Mingyao is a miserable young Taoist priestess who has to make four exhausting trips for her graduation thesis: catching ghosts.
Her travels take her to a remote cave in the mountains.
Theodora is a little princess of an old vampire aristocratic family. To escape a calamity threatening her people, she and her butler are sealed inside coffins and sent by a teleportation array to a cave in the East.
Theodora: 《The Little Princess Wakes Up: The Array Is Damaged, and I’ve Swapped Bodies with an Eastern Taoist Priestess?》
She’s also a fragrant Taoist priestess with an extremely overbearing and powerful blood-fainting constitution.
(Of course, the little princess would never admit that this woman’s blood smells amazing.) In short, she faints at the sight of blood.
Feng Mingyao: After seeing a ghost, I’m suddenly good to go? (As a highly skilled Taoist priestess with an abundance of righteous energy, I’m usually the one ghosts run away from. If I can’t catch one, I can’t graduate, get certified, or earn money.) But after swapping bodies, all the ghosts and trouble that are usually so hard to find come rushing at me.
Later, they find Theodora’s butler, and it looks as if they’ll soon get their bodies back. But a mishap leaves Feng Mingyao infected with vampire blood poison...
In a nutshell: The “happy everyday life” of a broke Taoist priestess and a haughty princess
