Reborn in Dream of the Red Chamber: Lin Daiyu Goes on a Rampage

Lin Daiyu died a lonely death in the Jia household, but even afterward, her soul lingered there. She saw Jia Baoyu marry Xue Baochai, her grandmother pass away, and the Jia family fall into ruin. She also saw how cold the family became after her death. She saw the deep scheming of Xue Baochai, who kept the truth from Baoyu and married him in Daiyu's place, and she saw Baoyu's weakness and cowardice as he fled reality, even though he had been tricked into the marriage. Daiyu seethed with regret. If she were given another life, she would never enter the Jia household. She would rather remain alone at the Lin estate, even if it meant dying there in solitude. She would never give her heart to anyone again. This time, she would live selfishly for herself. It seemed Heaven had heard Daiyu's fervent wish. Just as her soul was on the verge of collapsing and vanishing, she suddenly returned to the year her mother died, when her father was about to send her to the Jia household.
