Water Margin: I, Emperor Qinzong, Will Not Suffer the Jingkang Humiliation!

A history student, Zhao Wen, wakes up to find he has transmigrated into the body of Zhao Huan, a timid prince, the very ruler who will one day bring about the humiliating Jingkang Incident and the fall of his dynasty!

Tokyo’s glittering splendor is about to become a living hell. Cai Jing and Tong Guan hold the government in their grip, and the Jin armies are about to sweep south!

Zhao Huan slams the table and rises to his feet. “I will never accept this unbearable humiliation!”

Knowing what lies ahead is his greatest weapon! He moves first, slipping into Li Shishi’s chambers and snatching Song Jiang, who had been hoping for an official pardon. “Work for me, and I promise your Liangshan brothers an honorable future!”

He recruits the Liangshan heroes into a covert force, strips corrupt ministers of their power, takes on Zhao Gou, and ultimately ascends the throne.

Emperor Huizong: “Since when did my son become so valiant?”

Cai Jing, Gao Qiu, and Tong Guan: “Your Majesty, we are at your service!”

Zhao Huan: “Too late! Guards, drag them away!”

From then on, the Song dynasty takes a startling new direction: the Liangshan army leads the charge, with Fang La’s forces as the vanguard! A million fearsome troops march north beyond the Great Wall!

Wanyan Aguda: “I thought the Song emperor was supposed to be weak!”

The Liao emperor: “You’re attacking both Liao and Jin at once? Emperor Qinzong, that’s not playing fair!”

Standing atop his realm, Zhao Huan points his sword north. “No foreign army shall set foot on the lands of China! The humiliation of Jingkang? I’ll erase it from the history books forever!”
