I, Yuanshi, Ushered in the Mythic Era

Gao Yang transmigrates into a high-martial world where the mighty pluck stars and moons from the sky and destroy heaven and earth.

But that has nothing to do with him, because the humans in this world are still primitive apes who have only just moved from trees into caves.

There is no trace of cultivation techniques, vital energy, or spiritual essence.

The world is ruled by indescribable “beings.” They are fear made manifest, natural disasters, and totems looming over every living thing.

This is a world shaped by the mind, where belief is power and common conviction can rewrite the laws of Heaven.

So, to survive, Gao Yang has no choice but to start by persuading a group of bewildered apes.

He lights the first fire, and the belief in “light” drives away the fearful being known as “Eternal Night.” He absorbs the first wisp of spiritual essence, and the concept of “cultivation” is born from nothing. He straightens his back, and for the first time, humanity looks up at the stars instead of crawling on the ground.

Years later, when outer-realm evil gods covet this newborn world and prepare to feast on its “two-legged sheep,” they are met by human cultivators whose vital energy soars by the billions and whose divine will pierces the cosmos, along with the figure standing atop all immortals, the one who opened heaven and earth.

“Now, standing before you is the sovereign of humanity, the Martial Saint of the mortal realm, the Central Heavenly Emperor, and also... the Heavenly Worthy of Primordial Beginning!”
