I'm a Born Jinx, but I Love Making Relatives

“We’re so fated to meet. How about we become sworn brothers?”

“I’ve drifted through life for half my years without finding a worthy lord. If you don’t reject me, I’d gladly acknowledge the Sect Master as my adoptive father!”

After activating the Lone Star of Calamity System, Xu Ping’an goes on a wild spree of claiming relatives in the Tai Xuan Realm.

Facing accusations from every living being in the Tai Xuan Realm, Xu Ping’an protests indignantly:

“Bah! Why are you slandering me? What makes you think I’m a Lone Star of Calamity?”

“Everyone runs into trouble now and then. What do the misfortunes that befall those family members have to do with me, Xu Ping’an?”

“I don’t know how they died, and I never wanted this to happen...”

[Ding! Congratulations, Host. Family members +1]

[Ding! Host, please accept our condolences. Relative XX has tragically passed away. Your reward is a compensation payment of XX, and so on.]

Many years later.

“Fellow Daoist Jiao, you once belonged to the same sect as that great menace, Xu Ping’an. People say he’s the most disloyal turncoat in the Myriad Worlds. What do you think?”

“I think with my eyes! I know Xu Ping’an better than anyone. He’s generous and loves making connections. Even when people hunt him down, he repays their enmity with kindness and treats them like family. He’s also clean, has no gynecological diseases, and doesn’t wet himself. In truth, he’s the greatest paragon of virtue in all the worlds!”

“But I recall that all those so-called relatives met pretty gruesome ends. They say Xu Ping’an is a twisted sadist who gets a thrill from killing his own family...”

“Slander! Pure slander! And I’m warning you, Xu Ping’an is more petty than a needle’s eye...”

“Er, let’s change the subject. Fairies, what’s Xu Ping’an’s reputation among you?”

“I want to have his children!” So declared the Holy Maiden of Fuyao, the Holy Maiden of the Ethereal Immortal Sect, and the Nine Li Female Emperor.
