Mimicry: Unknown

No System, no harem, and a smart protagonist. If you want to read the complete novel, take a look at Volume Two, Chapter Zero.

Anfan is a goofy ninth-grade boy. One day, a punishment that leaves him standing outside class leads him into a whole new world. The people in this circle call themselves Mimics, and in their eyes, he's a valuable tool to exploit. He has to get stronger and break free of it all. He just wants to be ordinary. And so begins his life as a Mimic. (I started writing this book in ninth grade, imagining myself as the protagonist. Now I'm transferring it from paper to the internet. Don't get your hopes up too much, since Chinese was my worst subject in middle school…)

[The author's current opinion of this novel: The protagonist gets an “unbeatable” ghost artifact from the start, awakens a “powerful” Mimic ability, and becomes “invincible” in the world. It's a “pure power fantasy.” Actually, though, this story won't be all that satisfying, much like Strange Beasts of the Lost City, and there'll be heartbreak too.]

By the way, Volume One mainly covers the main and secondary plots, while Volume Two will have bonus stories, including the ones you most want to read. For instance, if someone leaves a comment, I'll take the most popular request and write it into Volume Two. Requests can only involve characters from my novel. Tell me what you want him or her to do, and I'll write it, as long as I'm willing. I can also fill in plots that were only briefly mentioned, like how Huang Yongzhi lost his bet with “Crow.” If you want to read it, I'll write that too.

If anyone wants to adapt my novel into an animation, feel free to contact me. I'd be delighted and will support it 100%.
