High School Detective: Duan Yunfei

Mystery, detective fiction. Multiple female characters. Soul transmigration, System, transmigrating into Detective Conan.

Duang Yunfei is basically a walking harbinger of death. Not that he harvests souls himself: wherever he goes, death follows and trouble breaks out! On the first day of school, while everyone else is admiring the handsome upperclassmen, he looks up and sees two top students jump to their deaths. He delivers a devastating dose of logic to the police and turns a suicide case into a murder investigation. Then, when underwear is stolen from the girls' dormitory, he follows the scent of rose essential oil to catch the perverted buyer. When someone is found hanged on the hill behind school, he digs up a diary and uncovers the truth: parental pressure drove the child to their death. Best of all, when his girlfriend Lin Wanwan is kidnapped, he seems to have supernatural vision, fighting his way from the Red Sand Quarry to an underground parking garage while also foiling a business rival's plot. Whether it's a murder on a roller coaster at an amusement park or a body dumped in a locked hotel room, even his dad manages to stumble into a murder case when he comes to visit. The father and son solve cases together, and they're incredible. Most unbelievable of all, he even encounters a fellow detective: a high school sleuth in a deerstalker hat challenges him to a battle of wits, only to have his scheme unraveled by a single earring. Now the whole school knows that whenever Duan Yunfei shows up, he's either solving a case or on his way to solve one. Officer Zhang Lei sees him and wants to retire, while Lin Wanwan went from asking him to find her parrot to becoming his girlfriend. With a constitution like that, who wouldn't believe the Grim Reaper sent him to the human world to solve crimes?
