The twin princesses set out from Luomei Cove with the surviving pages of Records of the Tiny Kingdom and their Mirror Abyss abilities. They gather their strength at the Wolf Mountain camp, then join forces with the border villagers in Shiwa Village. Along the way, they repeatedly foil the schemes of the Shadow Pavilion and the Xiongnu. Red willow branch traps and sand mines prove their power, while the legend of Princess Liu inspires them to unite the surviving people of the Tiny Kingdom. A surprise raid on the grain depot at Black Wind Pass becomes a turning point. Old Man Shi and the others risk their lives to protect the book, and the twins awaken the Plum Blossom Record, joining forces to break through the crisis. In the end, they burn the enemy’s grain, rally the scattered troops, and sow red willow seeds across Wolf Mountain. The spark of restoration grows into a prairie fire, and at last, new hope appears on the bitter land.
