No gender-swap marriage, no yuri. All characters are adults.
Lin Chen, an ordinary high school boy, wakes up to find he’s transmigrated into a parallel world as Su Wan, a top-tier yandere beauty: long black hair, pale skin, and an heirloom Miao saber in hand. She’s also the twisted childhood friend villainess in an anime-style romance novel!
He spends ten minutes reveling in his new looks before the dangerous memories loaded into his body and the world’s absurd rules ruin everything. Break the saber? The System instantly sends it back, with “a family heirloom filled with love” thrown in for good measure! Try to get the male lead, Chu Yao, together with the heroine? The crowd cheers, “What a magnificent test of a yandere’s love!” The more he acts like a rough-and-tumble guy, slinging an arm around Chu Yao and calling him bro, the more the CP fans ship them as “a new era of incestuous romance”!
His only hope is Chu Yao, the childhood friend who has suffered at the hands of Su Wan for years. Seeing Lin Chen, now a blank slate, nervously memorize the Criminal Law to protect his saber, Chu Yao decides this must be Su Wan after a memory reset, not the nightmare he once feared! The two form a survival alliance: Chu Yao helps him suppress his instincts, which could run wild at any moment, while Lin Chen helps Chu Yao escape the shadow of the yandere.
But the rules of this romance-addled world are like the ultimate fan club leader. He dashes away from the women’s restroom and earns the label “saving himself for love”; when he tries to confess who he really is, the police laugh and say he’s too immersed in his murder-mystery role. His body’s growing urges, the whole internet’s fantasies, and warnings from the supervisor, Shen Qingli, all close in on him.
In this pink, absurd prison, Lin Chen keeps a well-worn copy of the Wu San exam-prep books hidden in his desk. It’s the last card his soul has to play. Should he play along and act out the yandere’s deep devotion, or use unbreakable brotherhood to tear apart this damn script? The road of brotherhood is a race against death!
It can barely be considered a change, the writing is excellent, and there is zero description of women wearing women's clothes and degenerating their bodies. The author writes casually, about peers in multiple worlds, one is a man and another is a woman, which is equivalent to the flow of clones. To sum up, it is a daily ordinary world campus love story. It is very imaginative and the writing is really worth collecting.
Is there some content in between? The protagonist and Chu's personalities have changed too much before and after
The plot is relatively novel, but I didn't understand it (?
