I Conquered the Nations from the Start, and You Call This a Weak State?

Tang Jing opens his eyes and discovers he has transmigrated to a parallel world, into a weak nation, where he is about to ascend the throne as its emperor.

Tang Jing takes a look. The treasury has only 150 billion left? Agricultural taxes are as high as 30%? The people are starving, and the army is stuck with obsolete weapons? Foreigners look at him as if he’s worthless!

Tang Jing makes his decision on the spot: “Abolish all agricultural taxes! Open up all commerce!”

His ministers are terrified: “Your Majesty! The treasury will be emptied!”

He gives a cold laugh and opens the System shop: “Redeem hybrid rice technology! Redeem fighter jet blueprints! Redeem nuclear-powered aircraft carrier technology!”

Six months later:

Foreign powers arrive in tanks to provoke him, only to be blasted into tears by Great Ning’s rocket artillery: “Is this really that poor little country?!”

Tang Jing gazes at the screen full of data showing his nation’s strength and strokes his throne in wonder: “It can’t be helped. I only wanted to be a low-key emperor, but reality won’t let me!”
