Five Years Later, My Fiancé Is No Longer a Jerk

Fu Chengli was the youngest son of the Fu family, who had been missing for many years. He returned to the family fifteen years later, only to be constantly misunderstood and framed, leaving him wounded in both body and mind. After an explosion, he lost his memory and was rescued by a kind family. Though life was exhausting for him without his memories, he felt fulfilled. But that life lasted only a few years. When those heartless people found him again, he was plunged back into a living hell of torment. He didn’t want to be bullied by them. His instinctive urge to fight back, buried deep in his bones, finally drove him to resist. He learned to stand up for himself and gradually uncovered why he had been framed all those years ago. Once he identified the first villain who wanted him dead, his goal became clear. He trusted none of them, but he could work with them, especially Ling Chuxun. She seemed shrewd, but in truth she was just a gun in the hands of the villains who had hurt him.

When Ling Chuxun first found Fu Chengli, she wanted to learn the truth about what had happened back then. As she spent time with him, she realized he was just like a little hedgehog who had been hurt too much and was trying to protect himself. As far as she was concerned, he was the one who had failed to take responsibility for her and had even hurt the person most important to her. She hadn’t even had a chance to settle the score with him, yet he was moping around like he wanted to die every day. It was really testing her patience. But when she thought about walking away, something inside her resisted. As their bumpy relationship continued, she realized she had fallen for this prickly hedgehog who bristled whenever he saw her. She had completely forgotten all the harm he had caused five years ago, because the evidence she uncovered showed that he wasn’t the real culprit.

Fu Chengli: Sister, why won’t they leave me alone?

Ling Chuxun: A Li, I’ll make them pay.
