[Glittering stardom + everyone dotes on her + quirky and lively + livestreamed variety show + dating show + campus life]
Wang Shi'an won a spot on a variety show, joining the celebrities under the spotlight as an ordinary participant.
But unexpectedly, she became the one the celebrities were compared against.
Right off the bat, fans mocked her cheap outfit and called her a country bumpkin.
But wasn't this a show about doing chores? If they dressed up so nicely, weren't they just putting on a show?
The celebrity guests on the program were all quite a bunch, too.
Jiang Ting had a queenly air, always claiming the center spot wherever she went and holding her head high with an arrogant look.
The somewhat girly lackey Song Yangyang looked down on her with such a haughty gaze it practically reached the sky, and kept sticking out his delicate, feminine fingers to pick fights.
The brooding, handsome Ye Tingyu was always paired with a guitar and headphones, sitting alone by the window as if shutting out the world.
The shy, muscular Zhao Yao blushed whenever he spoke.
They hardly seemed to have come to do chores. They were clearly here to enjoy themselves, while she seemed like the housekeeper the production team had hired to wait on them.
Then a handsome, stone-faced guy and a ten-year-old kid joined them, bringing together a bunch of sheltered people who had no idea what hard work was.
Wang Shi'an was the only one with any experience doing chores, but she had never waited on anyone. She wasn't about to start now. Everyone had to do their share, and nobody was allowed to slack off.
Everything had been going well, but then the production team pulled a stunt and kicked her off the show.
The audience and netizens were furious, and she became a little famous, at least enough to be recognized.
Next, somehow, she ended up on a dating show. The guests included an ex-boyfriend she'd dated for a month in college, her gentle first love, and a high school classmate she'd forgotten about.
She couldn't shake the feeling that someone had set her up...
The character design is very novel
