Can I Still Be Saved When Surrounded by Evil God Cultists?

“On the day the gods descended, humanity, long tormented by contamination, began using the Black Calendar to distinguish its old civilization from its new one.

The Church says that humanity relied on the gods’ power to restore order, stop the spread of contaminated zones, and preserve the seeds of civilization. Therefore, humanity should believe in and praise the gods.

The government says that the gods brought nothing but endless war, extreme fanaticism, and social disorder. Therefore, humanity should abandon its faith and return everything to normal.

No one cares who is right or wrong. Most things from before the Black Calendar cannot be verified, and any so-called truth asserted with confidence has no evidence to support it.”

Many history papers begin with similar statements.

Chu Yi has always found it ridiculous.

The whole thing is steeped in the Church, the government, and the collective concept of humanity. It is a story told by ordinary people.

In such stories, the voices of those infected by contamination are never heard.

“Isn’t that terribly unfair?”

“Those infected by contamination deserve to have stories of their own.”
