Alternate title: A Sword Subdues the Eight Wastes
(A tribute to the great Jin Yong)
(Transmigration + struggle for supremacy + wuxia golden finger + multiple heroines + invincible male lead + exhilarating wuxia action)
Su Mo, a modern-day Jin Yong fan, has his soul transmigrate into a dynasty where “might makes right.” He becomes a frail scholar, too weak to lift a chicken, whose fiancée despises him and breaks off their engagement!
His fiancée looks down on him, and the whole world scorns him. So what?
The Jin Yong Wuxia System awakens: the Dugu Nine Swords break ten thousand moves, the Nine Yang Divine Art forges a sacred body, and the Lingbo Weibu lets him toy with the martial world!
He gets a taste of his new power on the night his engagement is broken off. He amazes everyone with the Lingbo Weibu before the emperor, takes down his rival with the Dugu Nine Swords at a banquet, overturns corrupt ministers at court with The Legacy of Wu Mu, and kills grandmaster-level experts in the martial world with the Six Meridians Divine Sword!
A fairy-like physician from the Medicine Valley secretly falls for him, a princess of a wealthy family proposes and offers advice, a holy maiden of poison and medicine follows him at the risk of her life, and a chivalrous thief gladly becomes his secret guard... With seven peerless beauties at his side, he commands the army, plots strategy, gathers intelligence, and builds a great empire!
In the end, he becomes Prince Jingyuan, a noble of a different surname, and earns the right to wear his sword in the palace. With beauties in his arms, he holds the Eight Wastes in check with a single sword and watches the people bow before his crown!
(Core appeal: Jin Yong’s martial arts overwhelming the competition, reversals as he plays the pig to eat the tiger, and the consolidation of forces under multiple heroines. He contends for supremacy both at court and in the martial world, focusing on triumphant comebacks and delivering maximum wuxia thrills!)
