Unemployed? Li Fan clicks on a job site promising “a million a month is no dream,” thinking it’s a joke. Instead, he instantly takes on a loan of a million yuan: the welcome package for an “intern actor” at a high-dimensional production studio!
Welcome to the theater! The rules are simple and brutal:
Debt from the start: 100 points, equivalent to 1 million RMB, dumped on you as a loan. Fail to pay it back? Face the consequences!
Get rich with showstopping moments: Want to make money and pay off your debt? Go all out creating iconic scenes! The more explosive the footage, the crazier the tips!
Borrow your abilities: Can points buy superpowers? Sure! But the way you get them... A crowbar against Cursed Spirits? A knockoff Domain so bad even Satoru Gojo would be speechless? If it works, it works!
Death means wrapping: Die and the shoot is over? Sure! But if you die with enough style, your bonus doubles!
His debut is on the set of Jujutsu Kaisen!
Li Fan: Going all in on loans! [Basic Cursed Energy]? Buy! [One-Time Knockoff Domain]? Going all in! [Overwhelming Presence] + [Snark-to-Energy Converter]? Absolutely! The crowbar, the Sword of Physics? Two points, what a bargain!
Goal: Do the most ridiculous job possible in the most ridiculous way!
And so:
Facing a Cursed Spirit, he shouts, “For the glory of Newton!” and hits a home run with his crowbar! (Comments: ??? Crowbar hero! Tip him!)
At death’s door, he blinds the whole set with a cheap neon-sign version of “Domain Expansion”! (Comments: Holy crap? This effect costs five mao! Nailed the imitation! Send a rocket!)
In the end, he spreads his arms and launches himself at a Special Grade Cursed Spirit, triggering an S-rank showstopper.
Settlement after returning: 1.75 million in hand, promoted to a contracted actor! Looking at the barrage of “Rookie King” comments across the finished footage, Li Fan rubs his hands together and laughs: Next one, max out the loans and bring on the showstoppers! For the sake of paying off (more) loans (points), charge!
Every detail describes the protagonist's gambler-like mentality, putting his own life on the line, and his extremely crazy thoughts mixed with greed for money and fear of death - a true portrayal of "people die for money, birds die for food". "Buying a large flat for my mother" is the source of motivation for Li Fan to blur the line between life and death and persevere. Extreme madness breeds extreme uncertainty—desperate madness and slim hope. But Li Fan can always win misty victories in unexpected ways. "Money stimulates my senses, and family affection becomes the driving force that supports me." "Don't try to stop me, no one can stop me."
It's good-looking, but it's a pity that it's a bit sparse
