The New My Fair Princess: Who Dares Lay a Hand on My Swallow?

The palace’s favorite girl makes a sweet and satisfying comeback

“My daughter can fly wherever she wants!”

Xiao Yun, the daughter of the Suzhou prefect, catches Qianlong’s eye when she saves him and is granted the title of Princess Huanzhu. But no one expects the new princess to talk back in the Imperial Study, shoot the emperor’s hat with an arrow, and tear up palace rules to fold them into paper airplanes!

“Your Majesty! Princess Huanzhu has...”

“What has she done now?”

“She roasted Consort Shen’s parrot... She said she was researching how to ‘fly higher’...”

Without looking up, Qianlong replies, “Send her ten more so she can play to her heart’s content.”

The mystery of her identity: The jade pendant she always carries conceals a massacre, and the “older brother” in her memory fragments is actually Xiao Jian, a palace guard?

A rival arrives: A Mongolian princess sets her sights on Yongqi at a martial arts contest to find a husband. Drunk, Xiao Yanzi declares, “Beat me? Get in line for your next life!”

A palace power struggle: A corruption case in Jiangnan exposes the Xiao family’s wrongful persecution. When the evidence points to the man on the imperial throne... should she call him Father, or her enemy?

Three couples, and plenty of sweet moments: Yongqi gives up his military command token for love, Er Tai and Saiya bond over milk tea, and Xiao Jian and Qing’er confess their feelings on a snowy night.

When an emperor’s favor collides with a blood feud, a sugar-coated storm is about to sweep through the Forbidden City.

“Remember, if you touch someone I care about...” Xiao Yanzi spins around and flicks a golden hairpin into a pillar. “You’ll have to answer to my father’s imperial sword!”
