Five-Month Romance

A two-faced girl who is insecure and introverted inside but lively and cheerful on the outside, with an obsession and a love for cute aesthetics, blogger Song Keke VS a steady pilot who is warm in public but cold in private, Zhou Yunxiao For six years, through more than two thousand days and nights, Song Keke’s heart beat for only one person: Zhou Yunxiao. From the innocent flutter of her heart when they first met to her stubborn vigil year after year, he became the grandest and quietest sight of her youth. She collected every fragment of him, sketching his outline in the spaces between the virtual and the real. Her secret love was deep and enduring. At last, in the fourth year after they met, the courage she had been gathering burst through the dam of silence. For the first time, she summoned all her courage to confess her feelings, only to receive a gentle but unmistakable rejection. The world seemed to fade in an instant, yet the flame named “Zhou Yunxiao” in Song Keke’s heart was not extinguished. She tended to her wounds, stubbornly waiting for a change even in the depths of despair. Perhaps her persistence had finally moved fate, or perhaps her fervent feelings had touched Zhou Yunxiao’s heart at just the right moment. Not long afterward, she confessed for the second time. This time, she got a different answer. Those five months were the most dazzling fireworks of Song Keke’s life. The messages exchanged across a screen had never felt so electric. Every notification made her heart pound like a drum. They officially became “lovers,” sharing the little details of their lives and confiding their hidden thoughts in each other. At last, Song Keke could express her love openly. She eagerly savored this long-awaited sweetness, as if trying to fill every blank space left by the past four years. She longed to hear his voice, to see what he looked like, and to let their online romance take root in the real world, within reach.
