Demon Slayer: Demon Slayers of Heian-kyo

The main storyline of Demon Slayer, with a setting inspired by the game Onmyoji and a few other strange and unusual elements~

The flames of justice and atonement will one day consume the endless night.

Akabane Ryo, heir to Flame Breathing, is a hot-blooded and impulsive young swordsman. He comes from the isolated Heian-kyo, where humans and demons coexist, and onmyoji arts intertwine with Breathing Styles. Driven by an unwavering belief in justice, he enters the Demon Slayer Corps' battlefield in the outside world, only to encounter someone who shatters everything he thought he knew: Nezuko, a demon who does not drink human blood.

Komon Hakuro was once a disciple of the legendary onmyoji Abe no Seimei. Now, he is a “demon” cursed by Yamata no Orochi. He has lost everything: his lover betrayed him, his comrades died in battle, and Kagura was cursed with eternal memories. He walks through the darkness, slaying demons with the self-destructive “Nightmare Breathing,” hoping to find release on his path of atonement.

As Akabane Ryo fights alongside Tanjiro and pursues Muzan Kibutsuji's trail,

while Komon Hakuro and Xiaoliang Cha secretly plot to stop Yamata no Orochi's return,

the fates of two worlds converge.

“If justice demands a sacrifice, then let it burn away my life!” Akabane Ryo's flaming sword lights up the long night.

“If this broken body can still atone… I willingly consign myself to the demon path forever.” Hakuro's blade murmurs a sorrowful song.

This is a story of two kinds of flame.

One burns hot as the morning sun, vowing to consume every injustice in the world;

the other is cold as the waning moon, willing to destroy itself to sever the bonds of sin.

When the Nichirin Blade of the Demon Slayer Corps clashes with the onmyoji arts of Heian-kyo,

when the fates of the Hashira and demons intertwine,

this feud spanning a thousand years will finally reach its end in blood and fire!
