[Historical, Ancient, Transmigration, Alternate History, From the Start, Imperial Advisor]

“Liu Ju, you’re Liu Che’s son and the crown prince regent. If you don’t rebel now, are you just going to wait for treacherous ministers to drive you to your death?”

“Listen to me. At a time like this, only striking first will let you seize the initiative.”

“We’ll take control of Chang’an first, then go to Ganquan Palace and hold the Emperor hostage, forcing him to abdicate!”

“Then you’ll ascend the throne, and I’ll help you govern. In three years, the people will be prosperous. In five, our soldiers and horses will be elite. In ten, we’ll march all the way to Europe…”

Xu Chen transmigrates to the Han Dynasty and becomes a retainer to Liu Ju, one of history’s most tragic crown princes. During the Witchcraft Crisis, he constantly urges Liu Ju to stage a coup and force the Emperor from the throne.

However, Liu Che hears every word.

Three years later, when Xu Chen and the crown prince charge into Weiyang Palace with their armored soldiers, they find the supposedly dead Emperor Wu of Han sitting on the imperial throne.

“Come, Xiao Xu, sit beside me and tell me about that steam engine you mentioned the other day…”
