It's really hard not to make people complain about Ruyi in the TV series, but people really like to watch the drama of being reborn and making a comeback, because I've read the novel Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace, and when I was following it, I remembered that Ruyi in the book didn't look like that in the TV series. It was the first Ruyi Rebirth novel that I read, and I also took Shushen with me. Although I didn't read Story of Yanxi Palace because I didn't like the starring role very much, I still watched a lot of scenes from Charmaine Sheh's Shushen. The plot is thrilling all the way, and the bickering between Qingying and Shushen is very interesting. The ending of everyone in the story is much better than the original one. All in all, I like it very much! The whole book is very readable, except for some small flaws (for example, the status of nobles and concubines is sometimes confused, and Gao Xiyue's Xi), but these are just minor problems!
