The Frozen Abyss of Qinghai

Li Ying, a retired Chinese special forces soldier, travels alone to Qinghai to fulfill his grandfather’s dying wish: finding Genghis Khan’s lost, mysterious saddle.

During a snowstorm, he is ambushed by the Wolfhead mercenaries. Just as his life hangs by a thread, he is rescued by Zhuoma, a mysterious Tibetan girl.

The two venture deep into the Kunlun Mountains’ Valley of Death, where they discover a sonic weapon hidden beneath an underground altar.

When a warlord activates the saddle and unleashes its destructive energy, Li Ying and Zhuoma engage in a desperate fight to the death amid the crevasses of a glacier.

In the end, the saddle sinks into an icy abyss, but the wolf-shaped tattoo Zhuoma leaves behind hints that the guardians’ story is not over.
