Espionage: I Won Over a Female KMT Agent

Yu Wansheng, a secret Communist Party member using the alias Zhang Fugui, arrives in Harbin to carry out underground work. By a stroke of fate, he meets Kou Yingyan, the action team leader at the Harbin station of the Military Statistics Bureau, who uses her job as an accountant at a cargo depot as a cover. After passing a series of tests, Yu Wansheng cleverly infiltrates the Bureau. He then puts its manpower, resources, and other assets to use, making his mark in the business world. Leveraging his ties with the Japanese and their propaganda campaign for the Harmony of the Five Races and the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere, he secures a post at the Harbin Police Department, rising to positions such as head of the economic division and deputy chief of police. His wife, Kou Yingyan, joins the military police and is promoted to deputy squad leader. Working seamlessly together, Wansheng and Kou Yingyan foil the Japanese forces' repeated attempts to tail, surveil, frame, and deceive them. They engage their adversaries in one battle of wits after another, completing one arduous mission after another for the Party.
