A cunning senior from the finance department × a sweet, adorable junior from the journalism department. Both leads have only ever been with each other.

The tenderness in his eyes was impossible to hide. The onlookers gasped. Was this really the Cheng Jingmo they knew?

After graduation, the two vanished from public view, and rumors that they had “broken up” spread like wildfire.

Then one day, a financial news channel announced an upcoming interview with Cheng Jingmo. Online commenters sneered, “Another new-money tycoon trying to sell an image.”

When the livestream began, the man’s gaze passed through the camera and settled on the press badge of the female reporter opposite him: Su Zijin, class of 20XX, Journalism and Communication, now chief reporter.

“Mr. Cheng, why did you suddenly agree to this interview?”

His rich voice carried a hint of laughter through the microphone. “Someone said I’d broken up with my first love. The person involved should set the record straight herself, don’t you think?”

The comments instantly filled with “I ship them so hard,” while Su Zijin’s ears turned red as she pressed the record button. For a moment, she looked just like the girl he had confessed to at the amusement park all those years ago.
