It turns out a skull-faced boss is behind everything: it took away modern weapons in an attempt to destroy Earth. In the end, Duan Yu, his brother, and Jiang Xia join forces to fight the boss and the Slender Man it created, struggling to survive in the apocalypse as they search for a way to endure and save the world.
