The modern young man Xiaren accidentally transmigrates to the Qin Dynasty in 220 BC. The moment he arrives, he bluntly declares that the Great Qin will last only 15 years, and Emperor Qin Shi Huang sentences him to death for spreading lies, putting his whole family at risk. At this critical moment, the Transmigrator System awakens, not only helping him escape death but accidentally sweeping Emperor Qin Shi Huang into a temporal rift as well. There, the emperor witnesses the truth of the Dune Incident: Zhao Gao and Li Si altered the imperial edict, and Hu Hai was incompetent. This convinces Emperor Qin Shi Huang...
Faced with the sight of the Great Qin collapsing soon after his death, Xiaren relies on his knowledge of history to weather the First Emperor's stern tests while trying to persuade him to reform harsh laws and burdensome corvee labor, preventing the Qin Dynasty from repeating its mistakes. Can this ruler-and-subject duo, brought together across time, reverse the Great Qin's short-lived fate?
