To save her gravely ill mother, Su Wan is forced to sign a surrogacy contract, becoming a mere baby-making tool for Lu Chenzhou, heir to the Lu Group. After the baby is born, she is abandoned. Her miserable state as she kneels in the rain, begging for money for surgery, catches the eye of Fu Mingxiao, a mysterious new power in the entertainment industry. Wearing gold-rimmed glasses, he steps in with an air of authority and pulls her into a new whirlpool of fate with the words, “I’m taking you home.”
