Horror Tales of Fog Town

In a fog-shrouded world of the uncanny, every inch of land hides deadly rules. The protagonist, Lin Ye, carries a mysterious candle that will kill him the moment it goes out, trapped in an endless cycle of life and death. Reality and the world of horror stories twist together: monitoring equipment beside a hospital bed overlaps with the altars of rules in a fogbound town; mechanical prosthetics intertwine with reflections in mirrors; fragments of memory resonate with the gears of time and space.

The conflict between the Anti-Rules organization and the Fog Alliance never ceases. Old Gear’s mechanical heart, A Li’s glass-like body, A Wu’s uncontrollable golden perception, Xiao You’s mysterious golden specks of light: everyone carries unique secrets and abilities. They dodge assimilation by their reflections in the mirror-corridor maze, fight the Gearworms’ corruption in the cracks between time and space, unravel contradictory rules in Wax Figure Town, and confront fear made manifest in the abyss of dreams.

Meanwhile, in the shadows, the dark side of the First Candlewick and a child wearing white gloves manipulate everything. Rule embryos keep hatching amid resentment, while the enormous eyes of ancient beings gaze upon all who resist. Lin Ye must struggle to survive in the narrow space between hope and despair, exploiting loopholes in the rules to solve the ultimate mystery of the twin flames. Otherwise, both worlds will become sacrifices to the rules. In this battle for survival, who will break the cycle and rebuild order?
